Hello

My name is Kristian Podmore or K.P

​It’s such a personal experience when selecting someone to help you train….how can you trust
someone over the internet with your personal details, when you don’t know who they are?
Because it’s such a minefield, I want you to know a bit about me and my situation so that trust can
be built between us from the start.
After I finished college in my late teens, I entered the motor trade as a mechanic. I enjoyed it at
first, but slowly started to get fed up. This led to spending a little too much money on enjoying
myself outside of work – and once I’d realised this, I knew I had to find a way of getting back on an
even keel. I found myself stuck in 2 jobs, working 10-12 hours a day, miserable, with a terrible work
life balance and no signs of a way out. Having no free time meant that the gym was cut from my life,
even though it was the one thing that I enjoyed, and a diet of take-away’s seemed the easiest way to
eat. This resulted in a massive weight gain. Over the next few years, once I’d dug myself out of that
financial hole, I knew that my health also needed to start taking priority and I needed to re-assess
my goals. I went back to the gym, brought myself a bike, started cooking meals from scratch and
then grabbed the bull by the horns, and qualified as a personal trainer! I am now (10 years later) on
my way to achieving the life plans that I have made.
I know what it takes to get motivated, and my aim with K.PP.T, is to help you on your way to a
healthier and fitter lifestyle. You CAN hit those targets that you have set for yourself (without having
to take the ultra-long route like me!)

Training Made For You

My aim is to help you with your goals and to help build habits and routines that will help you make changes long term.

 I'm not just here to get you to hit a goal as quickly as possible with a super restrictive diet and an intensive training regime that you can't stick too.  This will just make you revert back to where you started.  I want to help you make long term changes that are easy to understand, and more importantly, easier to incorporate into your everyday life.  That way, by the end of our training, you will know how to hit your targets and understand how to manage your diet and training to help you maintain your achievements.

The Plan/The Package

To start with all routines that I assign are built around you so no matter the goal, ability, time or space, the plan is designed for what you need. It doesn't matter if your training to lose weight, gain weight, improve fitness or just to try and keep healthy -  the plan will be made specifically to suit you. It doesn't matter if you have access to a gym or not either.

As part of the package, I will recommend your daily calories and macros depending on your goal. I will be here guiding you to make long lasting nutritional changes. I'm not just going to set you a 800 calorie diet and a food plan that consists of water and a few nuts in order to lose weight if that is your goal, or tell you to eat chicken and broccoli 6 times a day to build muscle. I won’t be giving you a meal plan to follow,  but we will log what you're eating and make small changes.  I'll set your correct macro’s (carbs, protein, fat), to make it more efficient long term rather than restrictive dieting.  I'll help you to make food choices that are healthy, but don't feel limited and that you still enjoy! 

Once you have your set plan I’m not just going to leave you to it all alone.  I will be available to you by message, anytime you need me - and we will have a set time once a week, to chat and discuss your plan, how you’re getting on, any problems you have faced and any changes you might need.  It is personal training and a personal service so it’s not all about diet and exercise, we will talk about general life and work as these also contribute to your goals.

The training package consists of a personal app to track your workouts and your progress, which you can input your data, photos and access each workout that you have been assigned. You will be able to track all your reps and weight as you can log it straight into the app.

 The app can also connect to your Garmin, Apple, Withings and My Fitnesspal to make tracking even easier.
